How to Integrate the Aries Full Moon
Last weekend's full moon cast light on several areas, and you're probably still feeling it today.
This full moon brought up some shadowy aspects of the self, and you may have felt an emotional and physical shift. Take note how you're interacting with yourself this week--has anything changed for you?
Specifically, ask yourself in what areas you're expanding and growing. Then, notice any areas of life where you're undergoing deep, lasting transformation. Finally, take note of the ways in which you're operating within your current life circumstances. These questions point you back to Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn, all of whom played a big role relative to the full moon.
My suggestion: take this week to give yourself some credit. You're living life the best you can, given what you know now, and that deserves some positive recognition.
Take some time to truly give yourself self-care by simply listening to your body and honoring your process.
Here's to you.
The AstroYoga pose of the week honors both the sun and the moon, and draws in the quality of balance that will help you this week.
ASTRO YOGA TIP OF THE WEEK
Practice side plank (vashistasana)
To practice this pose:
1. From Downward Facing Dog, shift your weight into your right hand and foot, turning your right toes to face in
2. Stack your left foot on your right
3. Draw your left arm toward the sky
4. Stay OR lift your left leg, gripping the big toe with your left index and middle fingers
5. Stay, breathe, and balance
6. Repeat on the other side
PRO TIP
Lift your hips up a lot! Press into your hand and foot a lot! See what it feels like to balance between earth and sky.
Remember: one-sided balancing can be tricky because usually, the human body prefers opposite leg/arm motion. Remember the right side corresponds to Sun energy and the left to Moon energy. Do you have a favored side? This can clue you into what aspects of your chart you're embodying most fully.
