Happy Halloween Week! Scorpio Season is happening!
This week, the Sun is opposite Uranus, forming a conversation between Taurus and Scorpio energies. In addition, Sunday's new moon in Scorpio added some fuel to the conversation.
How to Integrate the Aries Full Moon
Last weekend's full moon cast light on several areas, and you're probably still feeling it today.
This full moon brought up some shadowy aspects of the self, and you may have felt an emotional and physical shift. Take note how you're interacting with yourself this week--has anything changed for you?
Astrologically, things have been shifting this week. From Saturday's new moon in Libra to Saturn finally moving in a direct motion, things have been shifting in everything from the weather to politics.
What you need to know: the new moon in Libra started a new cycle, one which draws you toward actions that create harmony, balance, and mutual understanding.
This new moon, coupled with the moon's motion into Scorpio and Sagittarius this week, invites you to ground down as you reach out toward others.
Yesterday was the Autumn Equinox, which means it's finally Libra Season!
Each year, Libra Season shows up to remind us that everything in life must have balance. What goes up must come down, and we as humans have to find balance among many, many things: speaking and listening; going out among others and exploring deep within ourselves; thinking and feeling; nurture and growth.
This year, Libra season is here not just to balance these ever-present challenges, but also to draw our attention to one of the major astrological challenges of the year: Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. Libra energy squares this energy to remind you that those challenges that you've been bumping up against this year deserve a little balance as well.
In my experience the vast majority of people react one of three ways:
Roll your eyes, whatever.
OMG I am not booking any plane tickets or attending any meetings for the next few weeks.
What is that again???
None of these responses are bad, per se, however they lack a degree of nuance. In astrology, we need to develop a space somewhere in between taking things too seriously (#2 above), writing them off (#1 above), and total confusion (#3 above).
I’m writing this blog for all of you out there who want to know a little bit more about astroyoga (or even a lot more!)
AstroYoga is the combination of Astrology and Yoga.
It’s a way to line up your yoga practice with the broader environment. It’s a way of practicing in harmony with nature and the universe. And guess what? When you’re in harmony with nature and the universe, your body will naturally feel more balanced emotionally and physically, and you’ll be more effective in the various areas of your life.
AstroYoga can be done generally (making yoga flows that jibe with the astrological and planetary seasons) or more personally (doing yoga that corresponds to planetary seasons as they relate to an individual’s chart).
